Maria Ines Herrera is a senior partner of BARLAW - Barrera & Asociados, with more than 20 years of experience, advising global corporations, developing comprehensive strategies for the protection, defense and litigation of trademarks, unfair competition, and copyrights. She is a graduate from the University of Lima (Peru) and Franklin Pierce Law Center LLM (USA). Active member of INTA, AIPPI, APPI, IAPP, IACC, ASIPI and AMCHAM. Recently, she has been appointed as an expert for Peru within UNIFAB ('Union des Fabricants').

Marco Ancora is currently the Data Protection Officer for Axpo Group Italy and all the Italian subsidiaries of the Group, providing innovative energy solutions to both business clients and the domestic market.
Marco has extensive experience of more than 15 years in data protection, having held the role of DPO for several internationally relevant companies operating in various sectors, including Datalogic Group in the R&D sector, Volkswagen Group in the automotive sector, ING Bank in the banking sector, and most recently, as Global DPO for Syensqo SA, a company operating in the chemical and innovation research fields.
His knowledge of IT Law and Digital Transformation, gained through studies at the University of Bologna and the Politecnico di Milano, where he earned an Executive Master in Management & Business Development, has enabled Marco to broaden his skills in business and address issues related to the large-scale sharing of both structured and unstructured data through complex systems.
