Senior Legal Manager at Petrobras, responsible for coordinating the Company’s strategy in international disputes and advising the Finance and Investor Relations Executive Office.
Pedro Jardim has been an in-house counsel at Petrobras for 17 years. Over the past 9 years, he has led the Company’s legal strategy in all international disputes, including complex litigation and arbitration proceedings. He coordinated Petrobras’ defense in major international cases, including securities class actions, compliance-related matters, and disputes involving mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures across various sectors of the energy industry.
In addition to his work in dispute resolution, he provides continuous legal support to the Finance and Investor Relations Executive Office. His practice also encompasses capital markets regulation, fundraising, financial transactions, and administrative proceedings before the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários – CVM.
Pedro holds an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis), earned in 2013. He also completed specializations in Domestic and International Arbitration at the University of Dundee (Scotland) and at IBMEC (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
