Ospina holds a degree in Law and Political Science from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), a specialization degree in the Executive Negotiation Program from the prestigious Harvard Law School, Boston, a postgraduate degree in the Leadership and Public Management Program at IESE and a master's degree in Fundamental Rights from UNED.

He began his career as a lawyer in 2011 after being admitted to the Madrid Bar Association. He combines the practice of the legal profession with teaching, being a professor at the Complutense University, Nebrija University, ISDE, Carlos III University of Madrid, among others.

In 2016 he opened his own firm, Ospina Abogados, experts in Criminal Law, which is governed under the motto of constant training and the right of defense as a pillar for a healthy democracy.

He is a contributor to various television and radio programs and publishes numerous opinion and investigative columns in the most prestigious media.

Ospina is also the author of the manual for law firms ''El abogado Líder'', published by Aranzadi, where he offers some keys that any law student or practicing lawyer can follow to help him become a professional lawyer.
