Gustavo Souto Polese has been working as General Counsel and Tax Planning Director responsible for legal and tax planning departments at Randoncorp since 2016.
Polese holds a Law degree issued by PUCRS and is being graduate in Economics degree by UFRGS. Gustavo holds Master’s degree in Law by Unicuritiba, a Brazilian first layer of law educational institution located in Brazil, State o Paraná with emphasis in Competition Law and he holds an Specialization in Regulatory Administrative Law issued by the University of Burgos – UBU, a Spanish first layer of law educational institution located in Spain, Province of Castilla and Leon. Additionally, he holds MBA in Tax Management issued by the University of São Paulo – USP and MBA in Business Law issued by Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV.
Polese has been worked in national and multinational companies since 1998, and he also had an experience in 2012 as pro bono consulting adviser at Hunton & William, a law firm located in New York – USA. He is also the author of the book Associative Agreement – A Critical Analysis of the Associative Contract Model Adopted in Brazilian Competition Law (2016)
Stephen is responsible for overseeing all legal matters globally. Stephen has over twenty years of experience and is familiar with navigating the complex overlay of business, legal, regulatory, and policy considerations impacting biotech and pharmaceutical companies at various stages of product and company life cycle in the United States, Canada, and globally. Prior to Avicanna, Stephen held roles of increasing responsibility at Bayer, Celgene, and Indivior, and was a corporate associate with US and International law firms in New York and Toronto. Stephen received his US law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy (JD) and Canadian law degree from the University of Windsor (LLB).
Founding partner of CGM, Adriano has extensive experience in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, technology and data protection. He has assisted national and international companies from different sectors of the economy both in their investments and business in Brazil and abroad. He also coordinates the areas of digital law and privacy and data protection, and the firm’s technology and innovation group.
Adriano was the co-leader of the Commission of Commercial Law and Practice of the Brazilian Chapter of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) in 2023. He also volunteers as a Director of the Columbia University Alumni Club of Brazil and member of the Deal Closing Committee and the Deal Flow Committee of the Columbia Alumni Ventures Brazil.
